For my Time Atomata I had two sources of sound. One came from the two circles. Attached to the horizontal circle were four wooden sticks. To create sound you needed to hold on to each end of the rod and turn it back and forth (Not a complete turn!!) causing it to hit the chimes in the back created from nails, sticks, and round metal pieces.The other source of sound came from the film canister. Inside were a variety of small items and to create noise you had to pull the rod up and down in order for the objects inside to create sound.
