Group Performance

Our group performed the act called "Cheeze-Itz". Originally we wanted to be breaking pencils on stage instead of Cheeze-Itz, but we decided that using the crackers would get more of a reaction out of our audience. There can be many different interpretations of our performance, and our audience came up with a few different meanings. The meaning that I got out of our act was the intense sound that one little cracker can make when it is broken during complete silence. Colby and I turned this simple act of crumpling crackers onto the floor into a sort of fight, or competition. No words were used, we were only able to project our emotions through the Cheeze-Itz. Derek acted as a kind of mediator, desperately trying to pick up the pieces of our argument. During the act, both Colby and I ignored Derek. We were completely focused on what the other was doing with their cracker. I feel that overall, our performance was a very effective one, and it got quite a positive reaction out of the audience.
