Manifest : Dissociative Identity
I, Katelyn Berti, will alter my appearance to take on as many different personas from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.. I will document every new "personality" with a photograph. Carl Jung believes that a person is comprised of their "anima" (the inner part of their personality or character) and their "persona" (the outer part or expression). I am trying to illustrate that the two exist independently from one another and that a persons persona may act only as a mask, not necessarily being wholly representational of their internal identity.

Made-up
Photographs by Derrick Kevin Georgia
For our piece, we were hoping to satire the lengths some girls go to, or are expected to go through to alter or adjust their appearance through drastic makeup and other means. This was represented by the girls application of paint to her face. One girl begins applying makeup while the other rigorously washes the makeup off her face. This was done in hoping of achieving some contrast.
